LUSH American Cream Conditioner!

Hello once again! So this is the review I promised on American Cream by LUSH. So you have probably noticed that I don't take my own photos of the product. I have tried to take pictures of them before but they have come out awful and you cant see what the actual product is like. So I'm sorry about that.

American cream is the best smelling conditioner EVER! I cant smell the strawberries and i can only faintly smell vanilla but it also smells a bit like laundry, I cant really describe it. According to the lush website and the bottle this is a double strength conditioner. I'm not sure about that. In the bottle it is very thick, i thought it would be nice and thick on my hair and it would drink up the conditioner nicely. It didn't. Once i had put a bit in my hair it disappeared. I felt like i had to keep putting more and more on to get my hair covered with conditioner. It felt the same as I washed it out, like there was nothing there. But when i got out of the shower it was so so easy to brush through my hair without getting caught in knots. I was really impressed and like Big shampoo the scent lasts until you wash your hair again. I absolutely love this conditioner and it pairs great with Big shampoo. I would love to know if you have tried any other conditioner from LUSH and if they are any good. Also have any of you tried their solid shampoos? I would love to try them but I'm a bit worried that they wont be very good. Let me know in the comments! Thanks for reading :D

LUSH Big Shampoo!

Hello once again! I realise i haven't posted in a long time but i have been really busy and stuff, but i thought now i have the time i will get on and do a few so here i am. So the other day i went shopping and i went to lush knowing what i wanted to buy. I had looked at Big shampoo and American Cream conditioner for so long reading reviews and what not it was ridiculous. So i just went ahead and bought them. It was very very pricey. I got Big shampoo and the medium sized bottle of American cream and i came to around £18 but i wasn't shocked because this is LUSH I'm talking about and they are ridiculously pricey. So i will be doing a review on Big now and American Cream after. The shampoo is actually surprisingly quite runny. It would be a very smooth liquid if not for the salt as this shampoo is 50% salt. You would think that they would hurt you head? Well they don't! It is actually a very nice feeling. I have long hair, not really long but i need hardly any of this shampoo to create an amazing lather! The whole of my head was covered in foam and bubbles. And the smell.. Oh the smell is just amazing, i cant really describe it but it is a mix of citrus and clean laundry and very fresh and clean but it is amazing. The smell stayed in my hair in til i washed it again which i loved, although i couldn't stop sniffing my hair, lol. This cleaned my hair amazing well, it feels like I'm getting a deep clean and it is stripping everything bad off my hair (I don't not suggest if you have dyed hair) but there is a downfall to this shampoo, it made my hair super super knotty, i couldn't even run my fingers through it, i had to pull the pieces of hair apart, and quite hard to. It took me ages to get all the big knots out so i could put my conditioner on properly. So i would not suggest this for dry hair, unless you use a very strong conditioner or are just using it for a treat or something like that. But i do love how this smells, cleans my hair and how you don't need to use much of it so if i had to give it a star rating i would give it a 4 1/2. BarryM Instant Nail Effects Black

I completely forgot about this nail varnish until today so i thought it would be perfect to do a review on. It will be only a short one, because, well, there is only so much you can say about nail varnish. So this is the instant nail effects bottle. What this nail varnish does is crack. You apply it onto the nail once and after a few seconds its all cracks, creating a design on your nails. This varnish is amazing for the price! It is very thick, which i think is so it can crack. I really like the way it comes out, it gives a really cool look and every design is unique. When i bought this there was only the one colour but now there is white, pink and blue. It looks good on pale colours or bright colours. Personally i think it looks really good on white! I love the bottle it comes in, the lid is really unique and gives you a idea of what the design will be like. It also comes with an information leaflet to show you how to use it. I got mine at Boots, i know you can get BarryM at superdrug to or on the BarryM website.  All in all i think this a really cool product which is a really good price and is really unique. Hope i didn't babble on to much! :)

Benefits Some Kind-a Gorgeous Lite

Hi! I know I'm doing a lot of reviews in one go but I'm just so excited to have my first ever blog. So this is going to be a review on Benefits Some Kind-a Gorgeous Lite.Lets start with the packaging, now all of benefits products packaging is so so cute. This one is in the shape of a record which i think is a really unique idea and one of the main reasons that I'm drawn to benefits products is because of the packaging. Now i got the lite version of this foundation because i have quite pale skin. The sponge that comes with it is okay if you have nothing else or need a touch up but it is not the best because i think it soaks up most of the foundation before it reaches your face! So i use benefits foundation brush. I have to say that it is very easy to put on because of the liquid-powder formula. It glides on easily with the brush and then leaves you face feeling nice and soft. The foundation is not thick at all, if you want a good thick coverage then this is not for you. This foundation give a light coverage which is why it is called the 'foundation faker'. It is quite thin and didn't take me long to hit the pan on the bottom which i was quite disappointed about. I have super oily skin and it isn't very good with coping with it, it doesn't keep me matte and within an hour my face will look like a oil slick. But when i have had dry patches on my face it is even worse, the foundation sticks to your dry patches and shows them up really badly. Apart from not being able to cope with my oily face very well i think this is a really good foundation but is a bit pricey for what your getting. Thanks for reading! :)

L'oreal Extra Volume Collagen Plus Black Mascara

So i have had this mascara for quite a long time now. Usually when i get a mascara i use it for a week, think it is rubbish and never use it again but this mascara is amazing. It does give extra volume like it says and coats every single one of my lashes. I love the packaging of this mascara, it looks very professional. The wand is very easy to hold as it has a large handle which has been squared so it is very easy to hold and is very precise. The actual brush is very big. It is the biggest mascara brush i have ever used and really does grab all my lashes. The brush curves in the middle which i think really helps completely coat the lashes. The brush can get a bit clumpy at times but they if your careful you can avoid getting clumpy eyelashes.  I have got quite long eyelashes and find this fairly easy to apply although i do sometimes get smudges on my eyelid. The colour black actually is black. I find with allot of other mascaras they say black but it is more of a gray. This mascara really does give me volume and makes my eyelashes look huge. People always compliment me when I'm wearing this mascara. I have to say this is the best mascara that i have ever tried and i think i will be sticking to it for a while. Hope you enjoyed reading.

LUSH's Candy Cane Bubble Bar!

Hi! And its a LUSH review! This review is going to be on LUSH's candy cane bubble bar which is a christmas special unfortunately. So this is the candy cane bubble bar. Lucky for me i have 2. I got one in a christmas gift set along with the godmother soap and i got the other separately. Now these things i cant tell you enough smell absolutely gorgeous. They smell like rock star soap, godmother soap and snow fairy shower gel all mixed into one beauty. If you don't know bubble bars are things that you break and you crumble them under running water and they create huge frothy bubbles and silky water. With this bubble bar you can get 3-4 uses out of it, unless you really want to indulge yourself and have a whole half or even all of it! What i do is every time i want to use it i split the amount i need off and hold it under the bath water while crumbling it in my palm. This creates loads and loads of frothy bubbles. The sort of bubbles they create are small compact bubbles so they feel very soft, and they are very easy to make a beard out of, ha ha. This bubble bar will fill you bathroom with its amazing scent. I do find that when its in your bath its a really nice smell, not to sickly, which i love. I hope they bring this bubble bar back next Christmas as it is such a lovely one.Thanks for reading :)

LUSH's scrubbiest scrub!

So quite a while ago i got a face scrub from LUSH called Ocean Salt. I got the small 120g tub for £6.45. Which in my opinion is a bit pricey but what else can you expect from LUSH. 

Okay so this is a picture of the ocean salt from the LUSH website. Now it came in the typical LUSH black pot which can be sent in with 4 other LUSH black pots and also the shower jellies pots for a free fresh face mask. Now these pots are not the best as they are not the cleanest. You can overcome this by taking some of the ocean salt out and putting it into a bowl while using it so you can double dip and get it wet without worrying about the water and germs and all that. Fortunately i am not a germ freak but i probably should be... tehe. First you need to mix the mixture a bit because LUSH put a hard salt covering on the top of the scrub to make it look nice to sell in the shop, so you need to mix that in. Now this salt is very rough. It is LUSH's most scrubbiest scrub and can be harsh if you scrub to much. First i wet my face with hot water then towel dry so it opens the pores. I take a small blob on my finger and that is all i use for my entire face as you can spread it as you go along. I do small circles around my face concentrating on any areas which have blackheads or can get very oily, as i have super super oily skin. Now before completely washing it off, make your hands nice and wet and just slide then over you face as this will dissolve the salt and will turn the scrub a bit more creamy. Now wash the scrub off your face well. Now for me it dosnt dry my skin out but it probably would for sensitive or dry skin so i would recommend using a good moisturiser afterwards. After i have used this product my face feels like a babys bum! It is so soft and smooth and feels so clean and ready for anything. It is amazing for blackheads and helps clear them up and if you have oily skin it also helps to keep the oil away for a while as well. It is great for make-up prep as it leaves your face so clean and fresh. The smell is also amazing, it reminds me of a cocktail but it is not to offensive, i absolutely adore the smell, sometimes i just pick up the pot and take a sniff! I would completely recommend this if you want a good scrub to take away dead skin and have a deep clean, but if you have sensitive skin this might be a bit harsh for you so you may want to try one of LUSH's lighter scrubs. I hope i haven't blabbed on to much as this is my first post actually reviewing a product and I'm not very good at blogging so i hope you bear with me and keep reading!

My First Post!

Hi!

So this is my first post on my new blog. This is very exciting for me, haha! So this blog is going to be a very informal blog with a new post every so often. I will most probably be reviewing stuff in most of my posts, if not reviewing them, just letting you know about them. Since i am into all beauty products and such, my posts will be mainly on beauty products. Right at this point i am into all things made by LUSH cosmetics (http://www.lush.com/) so for the first few posts i expect i will be posting about lush, most probably!
